About DTA Motorsports:

DTA Motorspors was started in the early 2000's by Jamie Tyler and Charles Burns.  It started out as two best friends building their street cars and wanting to start a club.  Chuck and Jamie both bought fox body Mustangs at the same time and built and modified them side by side for years. It was during this time while while cooling off after a hard days work  with an ice cold adult beverage that the name DTA Motorsports was first uttered.  The two freinds new instantly that was the name they were going to use.  All the while dreaming about making DTA Motorsports the biulder of choice among their inner circles.  While our freind Charles is no longer with us, in his memory we are commited to building bigger and better projects that will make DTA Motorsports all that he ever dreamed it would be!

Jamie has been working in the automotive industry for over 23 years. His career started in his Father's footsteps with a focus on Fords early in his career. After a decade of Ford service and projects he began to be involved in more and more GM products. After a few years of GM focus he progressed to a position where his work branched into all makes and models. Fast forward to today and he spends his time on custom builds, performance work, engine swaps, and such. Recent projects range from a twin turbo LS swap in a GMC truck on the brink of breathing over 1,000 horsepower to a stage III cam swap plus in a 4.6 liter 3-valve Ford Mustang GT. 

As a devoted husband and father five of his projects park in his driveway every night!
